Syed Zaid Zaman Hamid is writing the book Sultan Noor Ud Din Zangi Sultan Salahuddin Ayobi. Both of these Muslim commanders played a significant role in the Crusades and saved the Muslim world from Christian invasion. Nooruddin was the eldest son of Imad Ud Din Zanggi, another crusader hero. Noor Ud Din sponsored Ayubi and encouraged him to fight against the Crusader army.
Sultan Salah Ud Din Ayubi was the governor of Egypt in the Zangi dynasty. After the death of Zanggi, he ruled all of Syria. In addition, Sultan Ayubi fought the rebellion and the Christians at the same time. He was a man of the desert and a very good commander.
Sultan Ayobi's warfare is part of the curriculum of military schools in the world. Sultan Ayubi fought and defeated the combined forces of Germany and England with limited resources in the Third Crusade. He occupied Palestine and held a high position in military and Muslim history.
Syed Zaid Zaman Hamid is a patriotic Pakistani fan of Sultan Zangi and Sultan Ayubi. He quoted them many times in his lectures and books. Moreover, Zaid Hamid wrote this book to introduce the personalities and deeds of both these persons to the entire nation.
